There are only men in the high positions at this company. If you don't know exactly what you are doing at all times you will be not be given any extra duties apart from the things you already know how to do. They do not trust new people with important tasks.

Simply zero structure in everything, marketing planning, data system, promotions, appraisals, etc. Some mid to higher management level is incompetent but depends on team as well, changes things last minute, a yes man and plays politics. Do well and you get punished with more things to do. Bosses value operations people more than marketing. Bonuses are dependent on both likability and performance, no proper appraisal or goals setting process.
