-lack of stability at senior management level -lack of a customer-centric focus -hire and fire mentality promotes so much turnover that long-term progress is stiffled -organizational changes bring management that don't understand the business from the ground up -management cites the desire to change the culture and create a place that people want to work, but act in a manner that favors too much change -strategy changes and lack of top-down consistency are very frustrating to rank and file

Very complex process that made each day a challenge and interesting. Large plant with a lot of custom equipment which made repairs and upgrades challenging. Great group of hourly people and floor level salary people. Unique product. Great potential both as a product and a business.

Management was dictatorial and didn't have a clue how to run the business. Management was trying to run the operation like it was an automotive parts manufacturer.. Management began gutting the operation due to budget issues laying off 50 salaried engineers, supervisors and managers. Then they started gutting maintenance. As a result a vast amount of institutional knowledge left the company. Efficiencies began to lag as no one knew who to do many of the functions that left with the institutional knowledge.
