This is not a job for someone who can’t sit in the same chair, staring at the same computer screen for 8+ hours. Working from home is miserable, but working in the office requires either weekly testing and tracking or the vaccine. I’ve never felt so lonely at a company, even though this is the biggest company I’ve ever worked for. I barely even know my manager’s first name, that’s how disconnected everyone is. I only lasted one month after I finished training because the job isn’t rewarding in the slightest. Be prepared to get yelled at or called incompetent at least 5 times a day. Don’t expect more than minimal support from any supervisor. This position should pay much more than it actually does. During onboarding, they make it seem like you can move around as much as you want, as quickly as you want, and your manager will help you advance however they can, but that’s a joke. By the end of my shift, I’m exhausted and can’t even build up the motivation to make dinner. EVERYTHING is scheduled. You get two 15 minute breaks - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - and a 30 minute lunch, but you may not be eating lunch until hours after any normal lunch time should be scheduled. And you don’t get a say on that either.
