A lot to list. I was asked to carry out unethical tasks, I was a manager reporting to someone at the same level (HR said this couldn't be fixed). Our building had mold. I had zero management support for a huge engineering issue. I resigned because I was marked down on my PR for something not on my objectives. Management is not taught how to manage people and are very biased towards certain types of people. Being a high performer only got me more work. I did all of the things possible to get promoted and did not receive any feedback on applications I sent in. I had a chief engineer tell me "I do not care about the customer, I only care about cost.".

Pretty easy job, low stress, good work life balance, nice people. If you just want a place where you can maintain a stable career, with decent pay, and a good work life balance, you could do much worse than Ford.

Terrible leadership decisions. ADAS got wrecked over the past 2 years. Most of the talented engineers that I knew have moved on. Part was intentional attrition via return to office mandates and the rest was just the fact that the talented folks who could easily get new jobs got frustrated enough to leave. If you're interested in deep technical work related to autonomy, robotics, ADAS, etc - Ford is not the place you want to be. All of the interesting work has been moved to Latitude, Ford ADAS is mostly just supplier management now.
