Svantaggi
Friedman says they care about their employees—they don’t. The staff “activities” they list, happen at the corporate office in Michigan. They use feel good incentive programs to make you feel better about working for them. When most employees really would just like commissions or a bonus (we were given one holiday bonus per year). Quarterly or annual bonuses based on property performance would be nice. The field employees are the lowest on the totem pole and are not treated as though they are valued. Those in upper management act callous and could care less about about the opinions of those who work under them. Not to mention the disorganization and constant musical chairs of staff. I have never felt so undervalued by an employer until I worked for Friedman Real Estate. I don’t understand how they are able to sustain business when they can’t keep employees long term.
