Vantaggi

Having been recruited a few months ago, I am continously being impressed by the level of effort that goes into making GBG a friendly and supportive place to work. The facilities are amazing, with small perks such as free soup and recreational spaces providing table tennis, Playstation etc. It clearly shows the management care about their staff and ensuring we can have a good time as well and pleasant place to work in . What I also like is that the business has a very clearly articulated plan for growth and integration which is communicated to all employees. A very ambitious growth strategy is in place and as such, a lot of internal mobility is taking place as well as possibilities for international assignments. Best of all , GB is very respectful of work life balance and all the Managers i have worked with come across as very approachable and are prepared to listen to their staff.

Svantaggi

Like any other business I have seen that has gone through a phase of acquisitions, there are some teething pains around integrating them into the group. Some silo mentality exists which sometimes can make it difficult to get things done quickly.

Vantaggi

Love working here, salary is a bit below market but otherwise great. Product set is wide and a bit challenging at times. Lots of support from team and management. Kind of going through some changes right now but that is not new to the company(s).

Svantaggi

Products are very complex and deep due to the nature of the industry. Information is a bit tricky to come by internally sometimes.

Vantaggi

Most benefits paid by the company and almost everyone is generally pleasant / office camaraderie.

Svantaggi

There is nothing wrong with a manager who can jump in to help when their team needs support. But there is something terribly wrong when they take over basic assignments instead providing guidance and direction to their teams and allowing their teams ideas to flourish. Even worse, when quarterly objectives are assigned weeks after the quarter has begun. It makes for impossible deadlines at the end of the quarter and unfair review processes.
