You get trained to do everything, the work itself is not hard. If management chooses to leave you alone, you could have a good time at work. It is a good starting point if you have no experience in office work or in accounting at all, otherwise you're better off elsewhere.

The biggest problem is management and how they run the office. VP is kind of toxic, gets involved in things that should be way below her, like gossip and spreading rumors. Employees are held to different standards. People are literally at their desk watching netflix all day or working on side jobs and get away with it, but at the same time others will get in trouble for simply getting up to talk to a coworker or checking a text every now and then. Work from home is not an option, some weird rules on OT like, you can't come in early on days you know you'll be busy, but you have to stay late on those same days because its busy. Basically they want to dictate what they want just because they can. Add no sick time, having to work days like the 24th and 31st of december. They are very stingy with taking time off due to the office, really, being short staffed. Forget about long trips, forget about asking for days around any holidays to maximize your time off, its almost automatically denied.

Get used to working hard when project deadlines near close. Depending on your role with the company get use to working at a high pace environment.

Easy work, Hybrid environment was beneficial to help with workload

always understaffed. management were disingenuous regarding staffing, pay and promotions. If you were "too good" at your job, you cost too much to replace so your career was stunted. While "promotions" were often, they were not actually promotions just fancy titles to make the employees feel good and add additional work without relieving some of the existing workload
