Vantaggi
At the time of my employment, the company was remote-friendly. Developers were granted a good degree of autonomy and could focus on their work with minimal micromanagement, provided projects remained on time and within budget*.
Svantaggi
While the company presents its developer roles as full-time and permanent, my experience suggests that developers are often treated as temporary resources—frequently let go once major projects conclude or client contracts expire. During my time there, I witnessed a continuous cycle of developer turnover, with most staying no longer than about two years. From the moment I was hired, layoffs were a regular occurrence. Management frequently expressed concerns about financial instability, often stating in team meetings that the company was operating at an increasing loss. Shortly after my departure, they implemented a company-wide salary reduction of 20% and cultivated an environment where employees felt discouraged from taking PTO or sick leave. *Projects were rarely on-time or on-budget.
