I had the privilege of working at Gilbert Meher for two incredible years, and it was a very positive experience. The board at Gilbert Meher is very supportive and more than fair, creating a culture that is second to none. The people are great, the incentives are fantastic, and the opportunities for recognition and advancement are there for anyone with the drive and ambition to either lead or excel as a top biller!
They offer a great range of incentives, from quarterly trips to annual an trip abroad, as well as sporting days and monthly recognition programmes. They have a well-defined promotion criteria and a strong focus on succession planning. The commission structure, including quarterly and annual accelerator bonuses, is one of the best I’ve seen and should be extremely motivating for anyone driven financially!
Open communication is valued and it’s refreshing to see the directors on the floor supporting individuals and not in meetings constantly.
They offer autonomy and hybrid working options, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Overall, my time at Gilbert Meher was nothing but positive. They are genuine people and very supportive, I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a fulfilling career in recruitment, especially those with the drive and desire!

Whilst it’s relatively hands off, I think those without the discipline or wanting more structure and direction could struggle but self starters can absolutely fly and billers can make a lot of money!
