Vantaggi
Other techs are very friendly, enjoyed spending the week with the tech who trained me
Svantaggi
Where to begin...first of all the compassion is zero. When you begin you're told the tech line is "there for you" but it seemed like every time I tried to reach out for help on my route nothing was done or I would be chastised for it. The work they give are incompatible with the goals. You can't expect to give people an overbooked route and then expect complete perfection and thoroughness at every house. And my team lead (won't name names) was the most rude, unhelpful, biased dude on the planet. He would constantly boss me around, speak condescendingly, and talk to me as if I'm an idiot because I was the youngest (or one of the youngest) on the team. There's no work life balance and unless youre best friends with the owner or managers youre gonna get treated like crap. Also, the pay is ridiculous. the only reason some people say great pay is that when you work 70 hours a week the hours add up. But when the quality inspectors will dock you for any bs they can find and threaten you with your job if you try to argue, it's completely ridiculous. Overall I felt very dehumanized, overworked, and taken advantage of.
