- Sexist environment, a bit of a boys club. Reported by many female employees. I noticed in my first month that I was very clearly being treated differently. I chalked it up to being new, but noticed it carried throughout. Watched male coworkers receive raises and promotions and I got zip. - Lots of micromanagement. Not a lot of autonomy or room to breathe. Upper management (specifically CEO) is constantly messaging employees outside of office hours (nights/weekends), and goes through spurts of listing out a laundry list of questions regarding (from the employees perspective) random issues, meaning employee has to go out of their way to catch upper management up on what they’ve been working on for the past month or so. Employees time should be respected, a separate meeting should be scheduled to go through items like this to avoid inefficient workflows. - Favoritism toward employees who work overtime consistently. Unfair disadvantage to those with obligations outside of work life (not a suitable environment for parents, unless you have a lot of help at home/your partner is a stay-at-home parent and okay with your absence in order to get ahead at your job). - No HR still, so lots of inappropriate comments and side conversations and decisions/moves within the company being made without any checks and balances. - Only ~1 woman in leadership position.
