I can say with confidence that my experience on Hired’s youth team was the most negative, toxic, and emotionally deteriorating professional experience I have ever had in my life. The youth team director is seemingly manipulative, unethical in numerous ways, and quite frankly, only seems to care about remaining on a power trip and having authority over other staff. Emotional torment, manipulation, intimidation, and retaliation were just some of the many tactics I believe the youth team director used on a regular basis. I felt completely defeated, broken, and miserable every day.
Talking negatively behind staffs backs to other staff, pushing multiple counselors including myself to forge documents and client signatures in order to pass audits, calling youth she didn't like horrible names like “idiots” or “effers” or "a**es" and providing misleading positive performance reviews just to later throw it back in your face saying you never did any good work, is despicable and biased behavior that should never be tolerated, especially at a place like Hired.
