Vantaggi

They value work-life balance, the pay was good, the benefits were good, the management listened and incorporated feedback, and the people who worked there were kind.

Svantaggi

Not really man cons, we were always busy, but that's not a bad thing.

Vantaggi

I’ve had such a wonderful experience working at HR Works. Everyone is so friendly and always willing to help one another, regardless of their role or department. Longer tenured employees go out of their way to mentor and show support to newer employees. The Leadership/Management Team genuinely cares about their employees and goes above and beyond to support them. There is such a strong culture of kindness and empathy throughout the company, which is consistently demonstrated by the leaders. All employees are treated with the highest level of respect and feedback and suggestions are strongly encouraged. Something that stands out is how the company prioritizes work-life balance. Employees are trusted by management and given independence and flexibility. It's an outstanding company to work for!

Svantaggi

None! I'm extremely happy working here.

Vantaggi

A few coworkers were great!

Svantaggi

When I first started, everything was presented in a very positive light—almost like “sunshine and rainbows.” However, over time, the reality became much different, and it reached a point where I dreaded going to work. I worked in the Leave Department, and unfortunately, the managers and supervisors lacked the necessary skills to lead effectively. It wasn’t until I transitioned to a new role elsewhere that I realized just how unhealthy the environment had been. In my current position, I feel valued and respected—something that was missing before. Suggestions for improving efficiency or processes were not welcomed and often led to being singled out. One of the most inefficient practices was the requirement to complete a daily timesheet detailing how much time was spent on each account and task. It felt more like micromanagement than meaningful oversight. My new employer is able to manage client billing without tracking every minute of the day. The culture was overly invasive, and feedback often came in the form of criticism rather than support. Employee well-being seemed secondary to profit margins. There were no bonuses, the pay was below industry standards, and overall morale suffered. Unless there is a significant change in leadership within the Leave Administration and Benefits Department, they will continue to lose talented employees.
