Large worldwide company with good benefits

Svantaggi

Treatment by local manager is degrading, humiliating and insulting. Lack of training abilities resulting in slow learning process leaves one to feeling frustrated while manager/trainer treats you with disdain. Manager is openly rude and discourteous on a daily basis to those not in the "clique". Focus of company is on Main Office in Germany and US Headquarters leaving the outer offices to squander.

Good internship program, talks from different teams ensure that you become familiar with the shipping industry and how the company works. The people there are great. They love working there. Interns have scheduled meetings with senior leadership. Senior leadership is super easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.

Svantaggi

It depends on the team, but some interns did not have a project/assignment ready for them to work on at the start.
