However, on this occasion, there are a number of allegations that HealthEngine denies and wishes to correct if this forum is to be of value to those who access it. It is emphatically denied that HealthEngine’s ELT does not take reports of sexual assault seriously, does not care about employee opinions or that they do not have suitable policies in place to address allegations relating to sexual assault or any other form of sexual misconduct. We understand these are important and topical issues that are both sensitive and triggering for many people. HealthEngine prioritises the safety and wellbeing of its employees in the workplace and takes all allegations of sexual misconduct very seriously. Employee grievances, when they arise, are dealt with fairly and swiftly, in accordance with best-practice policies and procedures, and legislative requirements.
