The main issue with Heimdal was the degree of micro management. It was bewildering to say the least and along with the poor commission plan it was the final drop that made me resign. The base salary was very low as well, but the incentive was the commission plan which was very poorly explained and there were several obstacles that come up later after myself and others were employed. Again, this was something that a lot of people on the sales floor was upset with and resulted in a lot of people resigning. Commission plans can change though, but the level of micro management is something that is in the culture and is therefore the biggest problem in Heimdal. I don't see this going away, for that to happen they would need to restructure the organization completely. There's really not that much positive to say, except that there are a few nice coworkers. If they are still there. In general, a very young and inexperienced company that demands overtime (without pay) and for the employees to go several extra miles even though the compensation is far below market standard.
