Toxic culture, an air of mistrust everywhere. If you don't get it in writing it can't be relied upon. Any conversations had, even about day to day things, you have to get that senior person to 'add a comment' or send an email. Bizarre culture. Managers generally dreadful, very few exceptions.

Nice office, system and structures.

The pressure, the politics, they always like to find someone to blame to instead or focus on trying to fix things. The culture is like that, some people are only faking to be nice to you especially when you’re only a chemist. The location is too remote, otherwise I would stay longer as I’m not really bother on politics as long as it’s not effected me (maybe because I’m just a chemist so less pressure).
