External employee for > 4 years. A lot of chaos in the last ~2 years. Hiring and layoffs, starting and ending projects are chaotic. Higher management is not very transparent with the company plans, as in like they present a plan on some projects and in a few weeks or months they announce massive layoffs.
Tech debt is not addressed seriously, no serious project to invest in improving the existing services. In the same time there's pressure on why production has problems.
There're quite some external employees and they are treated like second hand workers: not part of feedback process, not part of some all hands communication, no career opportunities for externals, frozen salary for about last 2 years.
