If you work with the right people (see con re: politics), you can create a good professional network because you can be in contact with many high level executives working in prominent corporations.

The environment is very negative. The company is managed by fear instead of positive reinforcement or motivation. The staff turnover rate is very high. People are hired every week, people also leave every week. Everything is about company politics, there is a misuse of power for the pursuit of personal agendas without considering the effect it may have on the organization or on people's lives. Due to the above mentioned you find people carrying out a job that they can't successfully fulfill and therefore it's hard to work with a leader that has no experience or knowledge of the business. There is no consideration for people's efforts, time or life in general. It's sad to see people being fired because they were sick for a week.
