Coming from a leading business school background, I found the Oslo office impressive. It’s comprised of some of the smartest and most innovative people I know. Although it's a relatively small office, on the flip side, the size made it possible to really develop lasting personal relationships, and Infront’s 8 offices and over 20,000 customers in 50+ countries gives you the opportunity to really capitalize on the breadth of its global network by working with clients all over the world. In terms of community, it was comprised of supportive, energetic and passionate professionals who enjoyed providing us with non-hierarchal professional development opportunities. As I moved from marketing projects to sales-, finance-, and customer relationship-related projects, the learning curve became even steeper as I reported their results directly to senior management. It’s also about as diverse as it gets. In the mornings, I could be seated next to a Nordic senior sales professional with 30+ years of work experience, and, during lunch, I could be exchanging stories with colleagues hailing from 20+ nationalities in English, French or Norwegian. Additionally, women make up roughly 1/3 of the office and take leadership positions. In fact, one of my former bosses, an expert in the field of marketing, was assigned to me as my mentor at the start, and she helped me take my communication skills and marketing acumen to the next level. At the same time, as committed as Infront is to innovation and professional growth, it was a fun place to work. There were social activities planned regularly, whether it was attending an industry event, office retreat or internal party.
