Vantaggi
It's a job and you get experience in the industry.
Svantaggi
The number 1 con is the lack of training. Part of the reason for that is the company is operating as if it was still a 40 person operation. The mindset is still small minded. Another con is that each department refuses to help each out. I've never heard "that's your job or ask your manager" so many times when working with other departments. This is in huge part due to a constant miscommunication between departments regarding procedures. Another con is this company is stuck in the stone age when it comes to the systems it uses and the way it processes transactions. Everything is so manual here. So many changes need to be implemented but change is extremely slow to happen if at all. Oh, if you have ideas to make processes better, just be quiet and keep it to yourself. No one's interested. Or if you find someone who is nice enough to listen, it'll end there. Creativity and innovation are not encouraged here.
