Fantastic place to work - Recensione dipendente - Senior Vulnerability Researcher presso Interrupt Labs

Interview process was clear and no nonsense. Applied online on a women in STEM jobs board for VRDP and was contacted within weeks for an interview, and my place was confirmed a couple of weeks later. The VRDP training was an accelerated but supported introduction into vulnerability research on both a technical and soft skills level. Previous security knowledge and experience was beneficial but not necessary. Felt supported technically and also welcomed into the company within days. Transition from training to full time researcher has been supported by amazing team members. Plenty of opportunities to get involved in further development such as robotics projects, hacking competitions and conferences. Great community of skilled researchers to be a part of!

None, except commute can be tiring if you live far from Basingstoke/London offices

- I get to do a lot of research into how to do things and get feedback from others in the team so I'm constantly learning and improving. - I'm supported in taking on more responsibility without feeling too out of my depth. And there is opportunity to advance my carer that isn't just becoming a manager. - There is mental health support available and management seems to genuinely care about employee welfare. - The culture is nice, There is trust both ways rather than an us-vs-them style of management. - The culture is inclusive of LGBT+ and neurodivergent people (I can't speak for other forms of diversity). - The Basingstoke office is great if you want to talk to colleagues and have lunch together in the office or eat out somewhere. But there's also no pressure to socialise if you'd rather eat at your desk or go home for lunch.

Although Interrupt labs makes an effort to counter it, lots of people here have imposter syndrome. It seems to just come with the industry.
