I owned Gulf Coast Surgical Assistants, a surgical first assist company in Naples, Florida, for many years. In 2005 my wife and I retired early to sail the Caribbean. When our voyage ended several years later, I realized I missed being a surgical PA but with the onset of rapid changes in medicine I didn't want the responsibility of running a business, I just wanted to work in surgery. It was my lucky day when I discovered Intralign. Four months in to my new job, I am impressed with everything this company does. Great leadership and vision, along with excellent teamwork and communication has earned the company a ton of respect at all the hospitals where I assist surgeons in many specialties. Though there were many benefits in having my own company, if I had to do it over again I would just join Intralign and grow with this innovative company. The course CEO Rick Ferreira has plotted is right on target. I have great respect for this company and I love my job. Salary is good and the retirment benefits are tops.
