Hi there - thanks for your measured and honest review. I feel like these conversations on GlassDoor so frequently mirror our AskJaneLeadershipAnything channel and I can see a few of those conversations reflected here in your review. I'm glad we're talking about Growth and PTO internally as a team. Interestingly, I think they're both actually really conversations about the same thing: Sustainability. Sustainability of our team with PTO, and sustainability of our Business with Growth. You can burn out your people and you can burn out your company. This is part of our values - Love Jane, Work Hard and Have Fun. Love Jane includes the Customer, The Product, The Team and the Company. Setting a bar of Delight for each of these groups and doing things better. Trying to set a really high bar without putting the future at risk - with both the expectations we put on the performance of the team and the Company. Work Hard is setting ambitious goals: In a way that, again, navigates short and long term health (which I suppose is a way of defining sustainability in the Growth world). Speed and Quality. Both take intention. Hitting our ambitious goals and producing work that will delight our customers. And Have Fun helps us ensure we are all inspired by the work we're doing and the role we're in. That we're keeping the Customer at the forefront (because serving them is so rewarding) and that we're doing work we're all really really really proud of. I know you're newer to Jane and so there's still some trust building to do - as seen in your Pro of "They say they will not chase growth at all costs." Let's work on that together. I mentioned in my comment in slack that "Breaking Jane for Growth would make no sense and be counter-productive. I would be the first to fight against a Growth Plan that hurts Jane’s Brand, Customer or Team." I stand by that - so message me if you see things breaking in a way that is bad for Jane. Helping Jane be as successful as possible is literally my job description 😉. As for PTO - we'll keep that conversation going internally. With holiday bonus time and our extra summer closures we do offer at least 4 weeks PTO for every role in the company, and a path to more with tenure. In those closure times I'm always feeling the stretch that our customers experience - we have to offer limited support and that's hard - and our customer team often comes back to a higher workload. But I'd like to continue to explore ways that our lives can co-exist with our working schedules. As a mum of 3 teenagers I'm always working on how to be the CEO and Mother I can be proud of.
