A lot of your success depends on how well you manage your relationships with people, and whether that person likes you. There are folks in leadership who seem entrenched in their roles, and thus stuck in their ideas, unwilling to explore or be educated. Although the senior leadership is receptive to feedback, frequently it doesn't feel like there is traction to what one encounters in their operational role at the end of the day.
