- No growth, and if you ask for growth or responsibilities, you'll get told that you should just be happy you have a job - No managerial feedback whatsoever - You can get all the degrees, certs, and do a million side projects to try to prove your worth while you're at this company, and god forbid someone even says "Way to go you, that's great!" much less let you have more responsibilities. No recognition, no appreciation, no support, no encouragement, not even verbally. I actually got told I should stop going to school because I don't need it, my job (low level, testing) was good enough. But then I wasn't getting any support to get more skills at work, so I should just also stop going to school and getting more skills that way? I should just give up? Lie down and rot? - Found out that my peers were being promoted over an email and that they had all been given an improvement plan that lead to increased responsibility, a promotion or a lateral change while I wasn't even offered any opportunities to try.
