- lifestyle is similar to a series C startup life. Company has the resources, it's relatively stable, but high growth mode. You may see that as a positive or negative. - due to relatively lean teams, there will be times when there will be late nights and weekend work. Most managers are understanding if there's a stretch of overtime done, to recommend their reports to take time off to recover. - Pay-- we're average. We're nonprofit so we don't expect to be balling here-- but it's enough for a comfortable lifestyle to eat out often and take several family vacations during the year and live in a modest home. I know I can likely earn a lot more elsewhere, but I rather have the stability than to get affected in a LIFO situation at another company. - Because we're fully remote, I do sometimes miss the in-person aspect, so we really look forward to the on-sites that are still remote friendly. - I only have a 3 star for work-life balance below due to me being in HR. The field's been hard for anyone in HR the past 4 years since COVID with nonstop compliance changes, evolved practices and such.
