Vantaggi
One pro. The ability to help families in need of assistance.
Svantaggi
The CEO is overly concerned with reviews which can be attributed to funding concerns. I was more than happy to leave this dysfunctional nut house and never look back until I saw these obviously solicited positive reviews. People were hurt by this company and there is no other way to put it. The group of referrals mentioned in a recent review were in fact recruited by one referral source. All left stable jobs with benefits. All have families and lives to support. All were promised the following: 1099 for the first 30 days at which time they would be onboarded to W2 status with benefits. That never materialized. After recruiting all these folks it was then decided it was too expensive to make them employees rather than contractors. One of the previous reviewers didnt seem to think lack of health care coverage to be a negative. That's great if you dont have that issue, but most people do. Period. At the time of hire, the group of recruits were clearly quoted an earnings expectation of a minimum 60k plus benefits. Most of us earned more than that previously so it was a reasonable starting point. There was no misunderstanding on what was promised as I was in the meeting where it was all laid out to us. Again, remember people left legitimate jobs with benefits for a company that reneged on every single promise made. There are a number of rather inexperienced folks with low expectations who find the whole thing just marvelous, such as one who seems to wander around Europe with a pack of children, working out of internet cafes. Not a great venue for gathering sensitive medical and financial information in my opinion. I am sure 1099 with no benefits works just fine for those types of situations and suits the CEO just fine. This is a perfect fit for the business model of low pay and no benefits. The various departments operate in silos and are constantly at odds with each other. Very unpleasant atmosphere. The sales staff is treated with disrespect and derision by SUPPORT staff, how does that even make sense? The sales staff keeps the lights on. Upside down. There is a gem or two and my advice is, you can do much better. I feel sorry for them. The worst part is, the CEO changes the comp plan monthly. Most people have the same bills every month and it's very stressful not knowing what the commision payout will be until a couple of days before they are paid. That pay date also changes monthly. Dont work here unless your only other option is starvation.
