The company showed great promise when I first arrived, but the executives began to make horrendous decisions, which began a disastrous turn of events. The problem is: there is no accountability or meritocracy in this company. Employees who work hard rarely get the promotions, bonuses, and congratulations they deserve, while favorited and likeable (likeable by some executives) get all the preferential treatment and promotions. Sadly, no incentives are given for employees to work harder to try and move up the ladder, because there is just no point. So rather than try to show their managers and executives that they are performing well and beyond, they would rather just move jobs. And the worst I've heard, is that the CRO actually threatened to call a future employer for an employee that gave their 2 weeks notice to him, to terminate their new contract. I mean what type of person (especially one who considers himself a professional) does that? He uses bully tactics and fear mongering to try and motivate his team, even when his numbers and results are pathetic. The problem here is that there is no accountability, and higher ups will do anything they can to deflect the own mistakes they've made.
