Strong global brand, good products, and decent infrastructure. On paper, Kohler looks like a great place to work.

Kohler India is a textbook example of how poor HR and Indian management can destroy an otherwise good company. HR is ineffective, biased, and functions purely as an extension of management—not as employee support. Communication is unclear, policies change conveniently, and there is zero accountability when employees raise concerns. The Indian leadership culture is toxic, ego-driven, and hierarchical. Feedback is not welcomed, favoritism is obvious, and professionalism is selective. Employees are expected to comply, not think. Work–life balance is mostly a myth. There is unspoken pressure to work beyond hours, including weekends, with no recognition or respect for personal time. Saying “no” is quietly remembered. The gap between Kohler’s global values and the Indian reality is shocking. Good people leave not because of the role, but because of how they are treated.

If you are okay supporting a business that is focused on building wealth instead of developing skills and business understanding of objectives, then you will fit right in as long as you learn two important phrases "Great idea boss" and "Yes sir, I will carry out all of your plans so you will be recognized by upper management". DON'T ROCK THE BOAT!

I have already posted a con, but noticed another con that other posts point to. I read about disappointment of no remote work anymore. Remote work is difficult; you have a hard time building collaboration, teamwork and trust in a remote situation. But as I look at myself, I am on-site and love coming to work - would rather be around my team and have a constant pulse on the culture where I can address any issues immediately. Ask yourself, other than the loss of commute time and being in the comfort of your own home - why do people prefer to work from home. Many times, it can be due to avoiding the stress and anxiety that exists at work. Now ask yourself, what would make people want to be in the office versus at home. Whether you are remote or in person, not wanting to come into the office may be a sign that you are not happy and lacking fulfillment from your current circumstances.
