Vantaggi

Some very good people and health benefits are top tier

Svantaggi

Compensation seems good until you work out how many hours you are actually working vs what you are paid A lot of very entitled and clueless people put into positions of power HR team support is mostly an illusion of trust No work life balance, it’s actively discouraged Policies are often only applied to people who aren’t favoured by c-suite or senior leaders A lot of shiny things promised and never delivered

Vantaggi

Quickest interview process I've ever been through. Was very impressed that the COO and CTO took the time to explain the company and industry to me during my interview and answered all my questions. The team is very passionate about the work they are doing and the impact it will have on the overall industry! LayerZero has a welcoming company culture and you'll be able to work with the best co-workers. Since it's a small and growing company there are tons of growth opportunities. I've been able to work on many projects outside of my regular job duties. Super excited to get in as an early employee to a company that is so groundbreaking.

Svantaggi

It is a true startup, so be prepared to take on responsibilities that aren't necessarily in your job description!

Vantaggi

- You get to work on genuinely great products - Everyone is smart, driven, and works hard - A lot of talented and nice people on the team - Culture feels a bit “we’re all suffering together but smiling through it”

Svantaggi

- Management can feel messy with obvious favoritism - Priorities and directions change constantly with little communication - People get let go suddenly without much feedback or warning - Very political and pretty cut-throat if you’re not close with senior leadership - Work-life balance is pretty rough - Lack of structure means constant fights for resources and shifting priorities - Communication feels very top-down. You’re mostly told what to do, but feedback from the team rarely feels heard.
