Vantaggi

As a person that has worked in senior living for my entire career I came to Lifespark because I knew Lifespark was not like other senior living companies. What I have learned is that the commitment to boldly pursue innovative ways to change the way seniors experience aging services is real. No other senior living organization brings practitioners, direct care givers, life enrichment professionals and hospice care givers to the resident in the comfort of their own apartment the way Lifespark does, all on one collaborative team. This has a dramatic impact on the way Lifespark team members work together to deliver exceptional health and wellness services to their customers. It brings additional resources to bear that helps every person that works for Lifespark put smiles on our customers faces. People choose to work in senior living because they have a deep sense of purpose to make a difference in residents and their family's lives. At Lifespark this purpose is fulfilled beyond any other senior living organization.

Svantaggi

Caring for seniors and their families during through challenging times and transitions is not always easy work but it is incredibly important and rewarding.

The people are why I have stayed

Svantaggi

It seems like upper management never knows the direction they are headed. I’ve been with the organization over 5 years and I have seen really amazing managers come and go. Sometimes it’s layoffs, other times it’s other concerns like productivity, etc. They term people in large clusters, which is always concerning however they say that “you are fine.” It is concerning to see that amount of turn over. I feel like management isn’t always placed on experience. Within senior living it’s disappointing seeing a lack of growth and development for leadership teams, which is why I think good leaders leave. I also think that the individual work loads are too high to be sustainable long term, which causes burn out.
