Vantaggi

Loomis Group had a great San Francisco location on the Embarcadero waterfront. We had several top-tier clients including Google and Samsung. My co-workers were smart, creative and fun. The office atmosphere was super casual, with beer on tap in the conference room, happy hours on Friday afternoons, bring-your-dog-to-work every day and an "anything goes" dress code.

Svantaggi

The agency seemed to lack focus in terms of both existing clients and new business opportunities. Roles and responsibilities within departments and cross-functional teams weren't clearly defined. Loomis Group seemed incredibly under staffed, which was quite evident given the extremely long hours that most employees worked to try to keep up with the heavy workload. Yet there were numerous layoffs while I worked at Loomis Group, with employees given same-day notice that they were let go and only a few hours to fill a box with their personal belongings and be shown the door.

Vantaggi

People, People, People. The folks on the ground getting the work done are fantastic. That has created a seriously awesome culture and work environment. There was also some serious talent there... it was a sleeping giant. Beer on tap. Wine fridge. Soda machine. Work/Life Balance.

Svantaggi

Incredibly poor executive leadership, with even worse executive financial management. CEO is not passionate about advertising or the company's performance beyond revenue. CEO can only speak to about 1% of the work that goes out the door. Expect to see him in the office 5-6 days per month doing just about nothing.
