Thank you for taking the time to review MapleTronics Computers. I'm glad you enjoyed the RMM software and company car we provided for you. I would like to address some of the items you listed as cons and give our perspective. - Negative attitudes and morale. I'm sorry you felt like there are people with negative attitudes. Negativity breeds more negativity. To work at fixing this, we have initiated listening sessions for our Teammates to air their concerns, we do semi-annual Teammate surveys to get feed back so we can make this a better place to work. I apologize that it takes time to make changes. - Meetings before and after work. No work/life balance. This one confuses me a little. We have one weekly meeting at 7:30 a.m. for our technical Teammates. We have a once a month Thursday evening meeting for our techs to keep them appraised of process changes and product development. Teammates get paid for the meetings and can attend remotely if they would like. - No room for advancement unless moving from Depot to NOC. Again I apologize. For the last few years we have worked hard to paint a picture of how each of our techs can advance within the organization. We post most job openings internally before posting externally to give all our Teammates a chance to move up. If you were unaware of that then we need to get better at advertising that information. - Low pay. We have made an effort over the last year to get our Teammates to market wage as defined by the Bureau of Labor statistics. Our current wage range for your position falls in the 55th to 75th percentile according to the BLS for our area. This means wages are above average for the area. - Overworked no time for lunch. We are required by law to give a lunch break. If someone told you otherwise, I would like to know so we can get that corrected. - Health Insurance was horrible. This is more of an indictment of healthcare in America. We have compared our plan to plans provided by like sized companies in our area and the plans and costs associated with our plan are lower and MapleTronics pays a higher contribution than other companies our size. - Nepotism was too much. We do have Teammates in management who are related to other Teammates, that's what happens in family owned businesses. All Teammates regardless of relationship to others are held to the same standards of behavior and performance as any other Teammate. Each related Teammate is very good at the work they do for MapleTronics. - Management are hypocrites. I'm sorry you feel that way. Yes, there are times when what we say and do doesn't match what we know it should be. We regret the instances when that happens. I believe each person on the management Team takes their integrity seriously and does whatever they can to match what we say with what we do. - Glassdoor reviews. I have asked Teammates to leave a review. As you read through our reviews, you can see there is a balance of both good and bad. I have never told anyone what to say in a Glassdoor review. Just like you, I want honest feedback out there. We have things to work on and we will continue to work on fixing them so MapleTronics Computers can be the best employer we can be. - We did boast about low turnover for a long time. Then we realized there is such a thing as healthy turnover. When someone is not pulling their weight and not willing to change when confronted, they need to find a new place to work because it isn't fair to the rest of the hard working Team. In the past year we have encouraged a number of Teammates to find new jobs. That has adversely impacted our retention rate, but it is healthy turnover and we will celebrate reducing the number of low impact Teammates as we seek to grow the number of high impact Teammates. I'm sorry if this purge of low performers impacted you. Profit Share. As we increase the proportion of high impact Teammates to low impact Teammates we are able to pay our quarterly profit share once again.
