There are really no pros to working here except for a few friendly and supportive colleagues who had the same sentiments I did about the horrible work environment,
Svantaggi
Reading the only positive review reminds me of the micro-managing President. She insists on drafting or editing all outgoing emails with incorrect spelling and bad grammar. Even if it is just a quick response to a client, she will still want to draft the email otherwise you will not hear the end of it from her. The fact that she feels like she needs to do this is down right insulting and embarrassing that any self-respecting, well educated employee has to suffer the indignity of sending emails looking so unprofessional. The CEO is the President's husband and he claims to also have the best writing skills and refuses to correct any unintelligible words. This is one of the reasons why the turnover rate is so high. People will stay for months, up to a couple of years at most before leaving. There is no training and everyone's job and responsibilities keep changing based on the management's mood that day. Employees are expected to just know and somehow guess their way around of what to do. But no matter what happens, the employees are always at fault and would be shamed and get a serious tongue lashing in front of everyone in the office from the President. She has absolutely no interest in developing the employees' strengths, but more keen on tearing them down. There is no morale here at all. The stress level is very high. The President expects employees to work at night, weekends and even Holidays...basically around the clock. Employees who fail to do so are often lectured for "not taking care of important tasks." There is so balance and everyday, the office is in a state of frenzy about some undeclared purpose. The CEO verbally disagrees with the President's behavior but does nothing to implement change. This wife and husband management duo disagrees with each other on almost every topic, leaving the employees directionless. Their constant blow-up in public creates a disturbing, unproductive work environment. They tend to pull last minute meetings, often at the end of the day and then argue in circles. This causes prolonged meetings and even then, no decisions are made. Waste of everyone's time. They have no regard to anyone and are very disrespectful of employees' time and opinions. This company does not have a central plan or focus and everything changes in a second. The only guiding principle is to save money in every area. The President expects employees to share a hotel room with her while on business travels. As a result, there is no personal space or time while out on business trips. The President’s bi-polar mood swing creates a chaotic, hostile environment. Rather than team building, she actively pits one employee against another, by gossiping and playing favorites. New employees are put on a pedestal and praised for no reason but she will soon get tired of them and will seek new ones. The dethroned ones will then be subjected to her tirades and blamed for all her own mistakes. She never accepts any responsibilities.
