This company generally has low turnover and is diversified across a number of different sectors that they'll basically always be fine. Tenure at the company is measured in decades, not years, which means generally good job security. You can expect steady movement. Very mature company that will continue on its own mature path. Benefits are generally good.

The flip side to such long tenure is that your expectations for career growth need to be appropriately tempered. For a $1B company, there's quite a bit of bureaucracy. Decisions and improvements are not quick. The company was not, nor does it appear to be today, in "growth" mode. The pay scales are in bands, which means you can expect very corporate and steady raises.
