- People in all the teams know their stuff.
- Department heads are super approachable and the vibe in the office is pretty good.
- Dept heads go out of their way to make it a relaxed place of work and notice when people are under pressure.
- Office is modern and in a nice complex (bit out of the way though).
- Perks like a gym on-site and monthly outings and parking (for some - and is it a perk, really?) and dog friendly office (sometimes?) are nice (but missing things like extra leave, bonuses, novated leasing, work-from-anywhere weeks, or proper training programs.)
- You get to work on a mix of different projects and clients.
- Can learn a lot from people who’ve been around and know what they’re doing.
Svantaggi
- Pay is way under market about 20% - fine for what it is, and i can work 20% not as hard.
- Only one WFH day and strict 8:30–5:00, which feels outdated in 2025 when flex days, work from anywhere weeks, core hours and hybrid remote working are the norm.
- You don’t really know what’s coming up work-wise. Not much communication about Business Development, only something is won, and its bells and back-patting for days.
- Processes are a bit all over the place and roles aren’t always clear.
- Teams are pretty siloed, so there’s no cross-team collab.
- Everyone uses different tools – Google Sheets, Trello, Jira, Smartsheets, no standard, so coordination is all over the place.
- Career growth seems to only happens when someone leaves, not through planned professional development.
- Not a lot of recognition or incentive to actually do well - structure would be nice.
- Problem-solving is often more reactive than proactive.
