Flat organization, great leadership, fun culture

Company was sold, so some of t he culture has changed. Not bad, just different

Microscan was purchased by the Japanese company Omron which above all else values the safety and quality of their products. This allowed management to slow down during new product introductions to ensure all facets of a product were reviewed and involved all applicable departments in the design review process. The Microscan division was quite small which allowed for a family like culture where you very much enjoyed to see your co-workers.

Management goals were constantly changing which lead to unclear objectives within departments.
