The staff doing the actual work (the 10%) Nice posh (no doubt expensive) offices Monitise pay WAY above the going rate (probably why they are going bankrupt)

Droves of managers and useless staff who don't actually do anything. The remaining staff who do the actual work are worked to death, blamed constantly and arent being listened to. Impossible working practices, poor decisionmaking, taking too many risks, following non secure methods, open source and outdated technology. Upper management have lied about the status of the companies finances and about the companies future Redundancies at every turn, entire company making gigantic losses, money is going to run out very soon. American CEO comes in with ideological cuts, slashes technical staff and staff who actually do the work. Then runs a mile when her plan mysteriously fails.... Everything is being outsourced to India / Romania.... No new work, no new business..... Company is finished. upper management should give their salaries back and be investigated for destroying the company.

Very good vacation policy. 6 hours accrued per pay period starting day one plus about 12-13 company paid holidays a year. Nice office in San Francisco. Free snacks. Good IT department. Very smart and hard working coworkers. Decent pay.

Company seems to have fallen as quickly as it was growing initially. Major disconnect between management and staff. The lack of news from management regarding the direction of the company created an environment of uncertainty. With the large number of layoffs, the company started experiencing a large number of voluntary departures as remaining employees found other opportunities. There was a major disconnect between the UK and the US offices. Cultural and management styles were vastly different making it hard for teams to get things done with different objectives and constantly changing priorities.
