My experience with the US side of the company was amazing! Great people, great culture. Go work there rather than in the UK. It's chalk and cheese, apples and oranges, completely different/separate to one another.

UK management lazy, dishonest and taking advantage of company "travel and food" expenses. I was forced to sign a new contract with redacted benefits after I had already officially started. Zero support from HR, in fact I don't even think that department exists in the UK. Over promised in expected commission. No market research done in the territory I was assigned prior to on boarding, blame put on my "poor performance". Demoralising role, forced to cover half of greater London on foot and by public transport, dragging a bag of samples around, going door to door - lowest point in my sales career, made to feel and act like a wheeler dealer. Products over priced, difficult to sell in an over saturated market, long time existing competitors fully cover the market. Seniors in the US were also far detached from the sales teams in the ground in the UK, solely relying on manufactured reports from UK management which clearly weren't reflective of concerns raised by individuals in the sales team.
