Good opportunity for someone with skills in the financial management industry. Pay is based on commissions with a generous training allowance for the first three years. Good Benefits with a lot of options. Training is usually one day per week and is very comprehensive.

It is all on you to find your market. Make sure to get plenty of development in the field from your partner and development coordinator. The office can be a quiet place since most other agents are often in the field. Make sure that you find a mentor and talk to them about the products that they are selling.

Right out of college, I had an opportunity with the New York Life. Being young I felt that I was at a disadvantage but I worked hard, I was relentless, and ambitious. My first full year, I was able to make a six-figure income. It wasn't easy but is medical school easy? Is law school easy? The training and development at New York Life was unmatched.
