Vantaggi
There are some good pizza places near the office.
Svantaggi
The recent 5-star reviews are all written by management. There is no "sink or swim" environment because you will not receive the resources to stay afloat. Everyone there, with the exception of Lisa Nickerson, has been there for less than a year. This is not a place for you if you want a management team that cares about its employees, your growth, and your family life. There is no flexibility except for when it comes to the principal's schedule. This company experienced a massive transition just a few short months ago, when it was so poorly run with a structure so disorganized that approximately eight employees left and one was fired over the course of six months. When I joined the company last Spring, the company had just downsized into a smaller shared office space. My colleagues worked hours and hours on projects and client presentations, through the late hours of the night at management's request, that were eventually tossed aside. I saw employees paying for client services right out of their own pockets and they were never compensated. In order to keep up with the workload, those in entry-level roles were expected to undertake and successfully execute executive-level responsibilities with entry-level pay and little to no training or support. Lisa Nickerson openly bashes employees who are "underperforming" without them being present, which makes for a hostile and uncomfortable work environment. She hired more unpaid interns than she did paid employees at her firm, leaving the very few full-time workers without the right team to succeed. Also, there is no HR team.
