Vantaggi
- Work/life balance. I am a student and work full-time and work has not gotten in the way of me prioritizing my education. Leadership is also very understanding if an emergency comes up or if I have a doctors appt. PTO offerings are also very generous. We get paid holidays off which I never had at my previous job. Leadership understands that we all have lives outside of work and they do their best to accommodate our needs. - Shift flexibility. I am able to start my shifts later or earlier in the day if I need to. - Opportunity for growth. I have been given a lot of responsibility since starting at Nuspire. I've learned more in the short time I've been at this company than I ever did at my previous job where I was employed for 8+ years. If you're looking to start your career, this is the place to do it. - Recognition. I feel like the work that I do benefits the company as a whole and am recognized for it as well. - People. The team I work with directly is close-knit and we all work toward the same goals. The people I've met from other departments are very kind and helpful as well. Leadership does not micromanage; I have autonomy in my work but also have not felt like I am "on an island" if I have questions. - Quarterly bonus program. Goals are set at the beginning of each quarter and bonuses are awarded based on the achievement of these goals. I'm competitive and a go-getter so this is a great perk. More context: My main reason for working at Nuspire is to gain experience in the field I chose to pursue during my undergraduate studies. I gained more than what I originally sought; this company has given me the opportunity to reconnect with my friends and family that I never have time to see, the time to re-focus on my graduate studies, and a better state of mind and well-being. I don't feel like work is a burden anymore; I get up everyday with a purpose and it's been a breath of fresh air.
Svantaggi
The only thing I can think of would be lack of 401(k) matching.
