No clear direction or instruction when given a task: you are told to do something and when you present it, for no apparent reason, you are told you got it all wrong. Regardless of the fact that during the course of execution you may have raised several legitimate issues- management does not accept wrong doing or advice. No regard for motivation: clear divide between management and staff. you do not feel encouraged to share ideas because they are so engrossed in mere rhetoric (we want to hear your ideas) and rarely have they implemented staff initiatives. Only after time has gone by and the staff has either left or been terminated, then they take credit for the idea. Misrepresentation, manipulation of true intentions: many feel ''lured'' into their current Account manager roles. This is because they were interviewed and recruited for other roles but lured into accepting account manager based on the promise of career progression in initial chosen field. Needless to say many of the desperate recent graduates or desperate recent migrants feel lost for choice. The lies do not end where mobile operators are concerned! Staff are encouraged to embellish accomplishments and progress. Fortunately, mobile operators see through and the company is failing to make any true breakthrough. Lack of sustained strategy/effort: every simple procedure becomes clout with poor organisation, lots of back and forth and this leads to confusion, disorientation, disillusionment, reduction of respect for management who by the way lack leadership traits: all they are, are managers and to say that is giving them too much credit! Extremely unusually high labour turnover: on average staff leave after 8 months. Not normal, even for a start-up!
