Vantaggi
Working from home policy is good.
Svantaggi
No prospects for advancement in the LON RHQ for good, hardworking and experienced staff. Management is very poor and openly show and use language like they wanted someone for a job. Management is from legacy companies and will often promote unsuitable candidates of their choice and usually from the legacy company they come from. Vacancies are advertised outside team bypassing suitable candidates already working within the team, because Managers have their eye on a candidate outside their department. The next time same vacancy is advertised only within the department. HR do not question this inconsistency. Favourable behaviour is very rife with some Managers often having meals out with these earmarked employees. Departments with senior roles prefer to bring in inexperienced candidates from outside the company and train them, when there is already a shortage of senior positions and a large number of experienced employees at lower grade. So there is no such thing as promoting from within the company. Some vacancies are not even advertised and simply handed out to the earmarked staff. Unfortunately the concerns have been voiced out by many employees, however, top management and HR do not take into consideration. A big reason is the lax attitude of HR towards ensuring recruitment takes place in a more fair manner.
