Vantaggi
Hard to think of many, but I guess if you manage to slug it out with the endless and mindless pressure to hit meaningless KPI's then there is the opportunity for career development. This generally comes through everyone above you leaving and you being the last person standing, but it can offer progression none the less.
Svantaggi
The list is long and distinguished: poor management, a poor brand, dreadful working practices - "old school'' fixation with meaningless KPI's, lack of flexibility re work life balance (including an expectation to give up your evenings and weekends for pointless client entertainment activities) AND to cap it all off for all your hard work and long hours slogging it out against better competitors with a better brand and stronger leadership, you are "rewarded" with the single worst bonus structure in the industry based purely on a 'discretionary" basis. Which effectively mean if you're liked by management, you are well rewarded, if you're not, then you're utterly ripped off. And on many an occasion even if you're well liked by management, then you end up getting ripped off.
