No reward for Efficient, Honest & Disciplined Employees. Management prefers political employees who do not move a finger, spend most of the work time drinking coffee, smoking, fingering, gossiping. Most of the high end contracts are running at loss because, some senior so called managers or general managers want to use the costly service providers, who in turn distribute commission in cash & kind to them, instead of using efficient & competitive service providers. Upon question the famous answer from GM will be - “NEVER MIND ATLEAST WE GOT THE BUSINESS” and then you being honest become a TARGET, they will screw you & your career at the first available opportunity. As long GM’s are happy with cuts they are getting.. let the company & other employees go to hell - is the attitude. HR at Oceania HQ is just a puppet who doesn’t have guts to question any wrong doings neither did the MD. If one wants to work in this organization, put your blinkers on, keep your head down, work your life off till you drop dead or become mentally challenged !! OR find yourself an alternative freight company who would at least look after you for your hard work and honesty. Remember with Panalpina you become a 24/7 bonded labor the moment you sign on that dotted...... line!! They don’t care about safe work or fair work Australia.
