This is gonna be too long so lemme bullet point: - Incompetent owners and upper management (The owners are real estate moguls who know jack about mental health) - Sloppy and at times nonexistent company policies. Upper management seems to disagree on things as simple as should an ROI have a wet or electronic signature -Fee for Service is a joke- you won't get paid when a client no shows- which is often with a population that faces so many barriers to service -Not a trauma-informed practice at all and will not listen to you when you advocate for change. - Case management is not paid millage - HR is there to protect the company, not advocate and protect its employees - Caseloads for therapists are ridiculous (at times I had 90+ clients and at least a quarter of these are high-risk high need) this is dangerous. - Super unethical billing practices that the company often turns a blind eye to. - I haven't received a merit raise and I've been there for well over a year - Insurance is awful - Paid time off and sick pay are so limited - High turnover- I genuinely feel awful for how often clients are shuffled around due to people quitting - Absolutely no supplies (sans maybe a folder) are provided for therapy. Therapists have to go out and buy their own toys or other needed materials -All therapists have maxed out caseloads and they won't start a waitlist, they will just add to your caseload till you're so overworked you just quit. -Nepotism galore. If you want to genuinely question the integrity of your field as your gaslit by management then this is the place for you.
