Vantaggi

The company culture is fun-loving and modern with all sorts of social events and community activity. Leadership is mostly supportive and flexible. Lots of time off and leadership makes it easy to use it. The health benefits are pretty good and the pay is alright. The company makes more than a baseline attempt to provide good amenities. The facility is also completely modern and gorgeously appointed. Overtime is abundant as needed and rightfully so.

Svantaggi

The workload is intense and very nearly unreasonable to designate as a 40-hour-a-week job. There is very little communication between crucial departments and almost no delineation between what is and isn't an account manager's responsibility. Client load is completely luck of the draw. Paths to upward mobility are unclear and seemingly random.

Thank you for your feedback. We try very hard to make Paylocity a place where we work hard and play hard. The Account Manager role is the center of our clients experience and an extremely important job. We have several initiatives in motion to reduce the effort needed to serve our clients. We are also hiring new employees and promoting existing employees faster than ever. Our career ladders are documented and you can ask your Manager or Director for a copy. I’d suggest you work with your direct leader to create an IDP and start talking about what you would like to do in the future and what it would take to get there.

Vantaggi

There used to be many. By the time I left all of the pros had been phased out. The only pro was allowing some people to stay remote- but if you wanted to advance in your career you would be forced back in office.

Svantaggi

Low pay. Micromanaging. Hiring leadership from outside Paylocity and even outside of the industry. Major and extreme departmental changes rapidly. Change is a part of business but in six months my role became unrecognizable. I was there for five years and had planned to be there for much longer. This last year was terrible. Low communication from all leadership. Higher and higher expectations of employees with no bonuses or pay raises to accommodate. My regional director was forcing people out and speaking badly about employees regularly.
