Vantaggi
The technology is great, UK management is pretty good, benefits are OK too.
Svantaggi
Pega decided a while back on a shakeup, brought in a new top manager so Alan Trefler could step back. New guy brought in a bunch of senior managers from IBM, SFDC, SNOW, did try to shake things up, so lots of people who didn't want to be shaken up left. New top guy has now been removed, so lots of his senior hires have left too. Most of us with long tenure now don't know what the culture is any more, and have decided that the grass is greener elsewhere (which of course erodes what little is left of the corporate culture further). Senior managers have become obsessed with announcing new job functions among VPs, most of whom no-one outside HQ in the USA knows, and whose job titles are becoming more meaningless by the day. There's a raft of new communications and engagement initiative, mostly done without apparent thought - for instance "Ask the Leadership Anything" sessions, where the only permitted topic for questions is decided in advance by the leadership. So more "Ask the Leadership what they say" then... Add to that, as another reviewer has commented, that the benefits package isn't even close to keeping up with inflation, and the (once pretty lucrative) options scheme is now worthless because the share price has collapsed (as have many tech stocks, to be fair), and it's no wonder attrition has jumped.
